Hi!

Paula Ballester is a multimedia animator from Alicante currently based in Valencia, ES.

Cinema allows her to find a place to tell stories of in-between spaces and characters that are not quite whole.

Her visual style is playful, cartoonish, and a little bit unruly. She gravitates towards doodles, exaggerated expressions, wonky shapes, and imperfect lines that feel alive. Through loose, intuitive processes, she enjoys creating worlds that balance humor, awkwardness, and sincerity.

Fire is the most interesting subject, in her opinion.

She recently graduated from the UPV with a degree in Design and Creative Technologies. At the time she is making her thesis film, «Combustión Súbita Generalizada».

Currently, she is working as a freelance animator.
